A Bat Mitzvah and A Music Man

Caribou Nation, what uppppp!!! What a crazy MLK weekend we had. It started out with a BANG at Abagail Rosovsky's Bat Mitzvah (Rosedog's Daughter). Held at Temple Israel in Boston on Saturday, Caribou came out in full force. Dan Rottenberg, Mike Stern, Charlie Fradin, Barry Gu, Bill, Martha, lori, and Rotman were all in attendance, creating one raucous and fun table!!!! Though Abagail was the star of the day as she did an outstanding job and threw an amazing party. It was also a little precursor to this summers Alumni Reunion. It was great to see some Caribou guys get together, but everyone was certainly excited for the main event on August 12th. In the end, we all want to thank the Rosovsky's for an awesome day!!!

On Sunday, as you know the Pats played the Jets in the divisional round of the playoffs. Being a Pats fan, that game was certainly tough to watch and I really don't want to talk about it, but Weinstein came into Boston to watch the game with me. It was great to see him, even though he was wearing a Jets long sleeve shirt and a Grey Colorwar under shirt (hahah of course) but he is doing real well up at Union College covering the 12th ranked hockey team in the nation!!!

On Monday, Lori and Rotman went to see Aaron Cohen perform in The Music Man. Aaron started the play off with a solid break dance routine, it was SICK!!!!! Aaron definitely set the tone of the play, as the Schechter school put on a great show. And just fair warning to all of you, I'm sure Aaron will bring those break dance talents to this summers lip sync, so watch out!!! We just want to thank Robin Cohen for inviting us, as it was great to see Aaron.

Also in attendance at the play was our very own MILES BACKER, who also goes to Solomon Schechter. Miles is doing very well and pumped for the summer.

Hey, it was a great weekend, awesome to see our Alumni and some current guys. Keep in touch and let us know of any upcoming events.

What a NUTS Weekend

Caribou Nation... Happy January 10th!!!! It was jammed packed weekend and it all started with a BANG at the Meadowbrook School. Ben Stoloff and his basketball team took on the Weston Wildcats and right from the opening tip the game was over. Meadowbrook crushed the Wildcats by thirty points in an easy win!!! Stoloff was ripping boards and was a key contributor to this high powered Meadowbrook offense. It was great seeing Ben and his parents Judi and Ron!!!

On Saturday, I was able to catch Greg Nemrow or G-money as they call him (new to the Caribou Family), play a Ice Hockey for Waltham. G-money was in goal for Waltham, who was a brick wall, however, Wakefield was able to catch a couple of fast breaks and score a couple of goals. In the end, Wakefield was able to crawl out with a win 4-1, but it was awesome seeing "G" in goal. It was also a pleasure meeting G's parents Rochelle & Michael.

On Sunday, I was able to catch the tail end of Gabe Peckler's (also new to the Caribou Family) basketball game against Dedham. I wasn't able to see all of the game but got a chance to meet Gabe who is jacked up for this summer!!!!

Overall, it was an awesome weekend, and just to let the New York guys know, Rotman will be coming down January 28th-31st, so let's get some big things going!!

IT'S THE WEEKEND

OHHHHHHH..... The weekend is here and what week it has been. Well first of all, J-Rob and Miles Canning signed on for this summer. BOOMTASTIC!!!!! Can't wait to have those guys back on the peninsula. As for us in the Caribou Headquarters, Bill & Martha are currently down in Florida visiting loads of people: Al, Evelyn, and Jesse Clarke and his family, just to name a few. Should be an awesome trip and hopefully great weather. As for Rotman and Lori, they are holding down the fort and keeping things real.

Quick camper note: Max Feldstein-Nixon is absolutely tearing up the Sunday River Slopes, and really getting into freestyle boarding!!! Pull a couple 1080's for the 'Bou Max!!!!

Have a great weekend everyone. Keep in touch.. I'm off to Ben Stoloff's basketball game.

Hey - how about this new slogan "Defend the 'Bou" AHHHHHHHHH.. Let's Go, Summer 2011

The Rotman's are back from an AWESOME family vacation in Playa Del Carmen, filled with great weather, deep sea fishing, jet skiing, and beautiful beaches. However, it's great to be back at the Caribou Headquarters.

On News Years Day the Block Family had a massive party with loads of Caribou guys in attendance. Tyler Swartz and his parents Sandy and Jack, Brad Kaufman (cookies) and his parents Linda and Jason, Sam and Dan Emerman and his parents Amy and Scott, Rotman, and of course the big man Adam Block. A special thanks goes out Dana & Jeff Block for inviting us all and putting on a great party.

And in other Caribou Staff news, Levin-Ep starts his new job for Capitol Teas as Website and Social Media Director. Good work Levin-Ep, tear it up brotha!!!!!

Bill, Martha, and Lori recently went down to Sarasota, Florida to visit Al & Ev, who are doing very well and very excited for the summer and this years huge Alumni Reunion!!!!! Bobby and Jerry just completed a road trip across the country to LA!!! They had an amazing time, saw great country, and spent a couple of days in and around the LA area.

As you can see things are rocking and rolling here in Wayland and we got a couple events coming up. We have Ben Stoloffs varsity basketball game, Gabe Peckler's Newton travel basketball game this weekend, Aaron Cohen's play entitled The Music Man, and Gregory Nemrows Hockey game.
